Use Gmail as outgoing mailserver

Please note this can fix alot of bounce or sending issues, however if you have troubles setting this up we cant support this. (use at own risk)

We cant support the use of gmail or outlook as they are both products supplied by another provider.


Go to and create an account.

Please note it doesn’t matter what you enter in the account created.


Once your account has been created, log into the account.

Click the Cog button on the top right, then click settings.

Click ‘Accounts and import’

Click ‘Add another email address you own’

Type in your email address, turn off ‘Treat as an alias.’

Click ‘Specify a different "reply-to" address’

Type your email account

Click next, Click send through ‘your domain name’ STMP

Fill out the SMTP information.

It will be (same info you used to setup outlook)

SMTP Server: mail.’’

Username: Your email account

Password: Your password

Click add account, close the window.


You will then receive a confirmation email to that address, Please click the link to confirm.


Reload the ‘accounts and import’ page.

It will then show the new account you just added.


Now open your outlook (or similar)

Go to your account settings.

Change your outgoing mailserver to ''

In outlook, click more settings and change the outgoing server to ‘login using’ and use the gmail account you just setup.

Go to advanced and change the outgoing port to 587, and encrypted connection from none to TLS.


Please apply the above settings to any similar mail program.


Try a test email, you should now be sending your emails via gmail servers.
